I made this quilt from the last strips of a jelly roll that I had already used to make other quilts. I had just about enough to complete the star which is a Missouri Star quilt pattern called binding tool star. It's actually a pretty fast pattern to put together, I completed it in one day
I then overall stipple quilted the quilt except I put a cable in the three and a half inch border. Because the strips were so light I decided to use a bright yellow for my background.
I had just perfect amount of the yellow left over to use on the back as well.
This quilt sold very quickly on Etsy to my old friend Jennifer Lieuallen. She bought it for her first grandchild. Interestingly I made the grandchild's father a baby quilt when he was a baby!
