Pale Vintage Era Baby Quilt

This baby quilt is made from pre cut 4 inch squares purchased from TEMU and white on white fabrics. I just kind of placed some blocks together, cut some, moved them around and placed them back together.

I free hand quilted the quilt on my frame .
There are swirl meanders in the body.
Feathers in the borders.

The quilt is fairly small and was sold on etsy.
I placed the blocks a little off center.

Jewel Tone Rectangles for Baby

A charm pack, some white on white and a few hours makes a sweet little baby quilt!

I continue practicing my free hand quilting having fun especially in the borders. I used a wishbone and asterisk for the rows.
Quick set up on the frame
A stripe for the binding finishes this little jewel!
For sale on etsy.

Bedspread for Ezekiel

Out of SCRAPS I was able to make a bedspread for Ezekiel for our house when he stays here. Very similar to the one I made when he turned 6 (for his house) this is fish/water/nautical themed fabrics cut into 5" charms. They are then placed into 4 patches with a diamond center in rows.

I ran out of charms but wanted it a little longer.... and found a great quarter of bright green tropical fish placed along the top.

Simply pieced back with a white box for an inscription and some sharks! My personalized tag and an "I Love You" tag on the front.

The quilting, easily done on the frame, includes watery swirls in the top portion and curly q's in the body. Each "stone" is densely stitched to smash them down and have the blocks more prominently featured.

YELLOW! Around The World

I had an idea to do an around tgr world quilt in bright happy yellows with some other bright to define the shapes of the trips.

This is IT! I am so pleased with it. I collected the yellows and the bright on a trip fabric shopping up in Anaheim earlier this year. I cut the 6 strips 2" wide and sewed a tube. Each Blick then is a 9" square with 36 patches.  That totals 720 patches on thus lap quilt!

I used a very light yellow for that backing with a random left over block. I free hand quilted an overall curvy meander in the quilt body with a geometric variation of a  wishbone in the border.

For Lauren from St. Barts, for her 40th birthday.
