Counting Crib Blanket

A very simple crib blanket (I backed a single layered blanket with flannel. There is no batting so it's not "a quilt," it is a pieced blanket.) the backing is a motorcycle print. The front is some random solid dark charms and pieces cut from a counting panel I bought EONS ago at my Anaheim Warehouse connection. It's the size of a crib, so a napping blanket, apiece to put on the floor and count with.

Do you know, I use this light weight quilt for summer napping! 

Broken Dishes Quilt

After the hustle and bustle of Christmas, and a couple weeks of cool and wet weather, I wanted to make a relaxing, easy, bright summery baby quilt. Broken Dishes takes no brains to make, I can simply pick out a charm pack from my stash, sit, empty my head, and sew. Yellow!  Sounds perfect!
