Lap Quilt from Vintage Linens #3
This is my third such quilt. I made myself a lap quilt, a baby sized one, and then this one from leftovers and scraps. The fabrics are from garage and estate sales, goodwill and second hand shops, my mother's collections, other random boxes of scraps.
Gifted to Debbie in 2021 after being signed and dedicated by the nurses in NICU.

Happy Half Square Triangles Quilt
This happy quilt was inspired by a quilt I saw while browsing Pinterest, who had it as a pattern listing from etsy. But as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to make it from a charm pack so that each HST would finish at 2". I used a crisp bright white floral for my plain fabric and a lavender pattern for the rings. This pattern is known by the name Single Wedding Ring.

Baby Chunky Bow Ties Quilt
I got the idea for the color placement based on a pin I saw on Pinterest and the collection of a charm pack I had that divided up the colors in a good proportion. It used 42 colored charms and 21 white/beige charms. I made the bow tie blocks a little chunky (Cut the charm into 2 (2 1/2") squares and 2 (2") squares) add 2 (2 1/2") neutral squares per block.)
The layout is what makes this magic! I got the inspiration from this blog:

This quilt is for sale on etsy. I am asking $40. It is 31 x 35 inches. Cotton batting, stitch in the ditch every 4".

Summer Napping Quilt
I watched a tutorial and decided I liked the layout shown at the end, which arranged the blocks in groups of 4 forming a star. And I had a nice set of fabric 1/8 ths that I thought would be a perfect selection for this pattern.
Some of the lights were too light, and didn't offer enough contrast, but overall I am pleased with this quilt. The blocks finished at about 18" each, and I had 12 eighths, so it makes a nice 54 X 72. I used a thin poly bat for a soft fluffy light weight summer quilt. I work nights and sleep days and it can get warm in the summer. I like to sleep with just a light cover, but I like it to be cuddly too.

Cross Cut Quilt
I ran across a tutorial for this technique. It's called Cross Cut. (I found it on Pinterest!) It just looked so interesting! An idea formed for the color story. I used black and bright scraps, starting with 7 1/2 inch squares of the blacks and each 1" bright strip was around 10" long to begin. It's really an interesting block to make!
