Ezekiel's Cozy Quilt

I made this quilt from a pile of miscellaneous scraps given to me by my friend Sharon when she cleaned out her sewing room. They were varous sizes of scraps, from Mikey Mouse, to Spiderman, from Hulk to Captain America.

I combined each color to a solid and made a random number of blocks, depending on how much fabric I had of each design.

I saw I coul make an around the world pattern, and had enough blocks and bits to widen the back!

He loves it......

To make this quilt cozy, I backed it with a piece of flannel I had bought at Joann's after Christmas. It features tiny skeleton dinosaurs with Christmas hats! I then free motion quilted a meandar over a thin, poly bat.

The final scraps were JUST enough to make a pillowcase!

Chandelier Quilt

Inspired by one of the tutorials on Missouri Star quilt blog, I made this quilt with a beautiful charm pack and about a yard and a half of a white on white floral. This was a really easy quilt to make, and would be very well suited as a teaching quilt for new quilters! For each three charms you can complete two blocks and as you see I cut a couple of the blocks in half to complete the setting.

This quilt was gifted to my sister-in-law Celia, a memorial quilt remembering her daughter Sandra.

Granny's Flower Garden Charms

Made from 1 sweet charm pack and my half hexagon template plus about a yard of background fabric I was able to make this sweet lap quilt.

The border is a fabric leftover from the fabrics Carrie gave me to make Francie's big girl quilt.

The border is from Carries scraps, and I used a piece of border fabric to widen the back. This quilt is for sale on my Etsy shop.

Quilted along the shapes of the hexagon patches.

Lemoyne Stars Reproduction Medallion Lap Quilt

Made from leftovers of a few projects, these Civil War era scraps combined nicely into a simple medallion style lap quilt. Inspired by a Missouri Star tutorial.

I made the border from HST'S made from the same pattern as the HST'S in the stars. There are 3 different neutrals, but they are real close in value.

The quilt pattern used very different borders, but this is the central medallion I liked so much!

The back was widened with 2 2.5" strips.
