Vacation Quilt
I finished this small quilt top years ago and put it away. Then last year I grabbed up several After Christmas clearance fleecie blankets for $2.50 at Walmart. Large loose swirls on the quilt frame and no batting at all make a nice lightweight cozy blanket perfect for airline trips or cruise ship naps.
Based on this quilt

Disappearing Four Patch
Using 4 1/2 inch squares made overseas, I finished this little quilt. The split 4 patches were then placed in a different solud star and set in the "Circle Of Nine" arrangement.
Inspired by Jenny Doan's weekly tutorial:https://youtu.be/rUDFQlEBNss?si=uEgt0NZGe1SJtYqy

Made this generous 53 x 66 quilt for a fundraiser silent auction at Ezekiel's school.
It's made from a Missouri Star Quilt tutorial

The fabrics are from my Mexican Fabric Collection with different neutral backgrounds. The border is a great floral stripe.
I free motion quilted some simple linear swirls in the body with curves in the borders.

Baby Under The Sea
I just finished another darling baby quilt using the Missouri Star tutorial on the Ohio Star Quilt. https://youtu.be/Dh6K4zUnfw8?si=9x0Cp4Y-dKvSJKfl
Made for Virginia, the organist at St Andrew's for a grand-nephew. She liked the quilt I made recently for Patty and asked for something like that. https://anita-rancherita.blogspot.com/2023/10/outer-space-baby-quilt.html?m=0
The fabrics for the most part came from my Under The Sea fabric collection, inspired by baby quilts made for my Grandson and other fishy quilts made over the years.
The back is a great piece I picked up at JoAnn at their Black Friday sale for $3.99/yards and the scraps and bits leftover from the tiny 6 1/2" Ohio Star blocks.
The sashing is a great watery swirl with cornerstones of shells and fish in a pretty aqua green.
The overall quilting is big curvy circles and serpentine lines in the borders.

Baby Broken Dishes
This quilt is made for a new baby coming to a parishioner family. The baby girl is a first baby and her family requested blues, greens and browns, with any quilting being floral another geometric.
I love the crisp simplicity of the broken dishes Block made from 2 5 inch charms. I pondered it for a bit since "geometric" was not favored for the quilting. I made a simple loopy line along the blocks to keep the quilting soft and curves.
There is a pretty label on the back to add a name and date.I made floral feathers in the borders, then a binding of the leftovers from the fat quarters used to make the blocks.
