Bright Abstract Lap Quilt

 I was inspired by a quilt I saw on Pinterest. I followed the pattern very close to what I saw with fabrics I bought in Anaheim, a collection of bright mottled fabrics paired with crisp white.

Rail Fence Baby Quilt

 Made from the scraps of another baby quilt this came together quickly in greens and orange car/truck/go fabrics. It was gifted immediatly to Laketa for her fourth grandchild, first grandson. Zayden. 

Pinwheels and Four Patches, Double Square Star

 This sweet lap quilt was inspired by a tutorial by Jenny Doan named Pinwheel Frolic... but inspired only, I changed it up a bit. It was fun to make with a charm pack and some pink and peach yardage.

Disappearing 4-patch Weave

 I am always challenged after watching a tutorial from Missouri-Star (Jenny Doan) to make the block she is teaching.  This one is called a Disappearing 4-patch weave.  She starts with a simple patch, then slices it, twists some of the pieces, and reassembles it.  Wow!  Something new and unexpected!

This is a cozy lap-sized quilt with gorgeous secondary colors and a nice, neutral backgrounsd. The border is a treasure from stash. 

Charming Wall Quilt

 You can do a million things with a charm pack and a stash!  And Half-Square-triangles.  I often begin a project by making the HST's and then decide where I want to go with them. And usually these projects are under 40" just because I don't have to piece the back, they are easy to pin on my quilt-pinning table and I can cut one piece of 90" batting for 2 quilts at as time!  Plus they fit into the sewing machine easily to quilt. 

Play With Stripes Baby Quilt

 The idea came from a quilt tutorial over at Missouri Star quilts, this idea of cutting and quartering a stripe and reassembling it to make a design. I used 2 related blue stripes to make this dramatic baby sized quilt. Just quilted this year, I put it together several years ago.

A Different Four Patch

 This four-patch lap quilt made in a horizontal row with top and bottom strips bordering it is made from a very bright charm pack coupled with greys and bordered with blacks. It was quickly sold online.
